Story #1- Betrayal

As some may know, I have always wished to have a Parrot. And this day the dream might have come true. But, unfortunately, maybe not. 

My name is Skylar. My best friend is Luna (aka Molly). And she is very rich: she has a Crow, Frost Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and a Giraffe. Wow. She also has a Millionaire Mansion. And a lovely sister, too. So, this day I could not take it anymore and offered one of my Legendries for the Unicorn, which all know is very rare. I thought people might trade their Parrots for a Unicorn. 

And so, she gave me her Unicorn. “Hello,” I said to the Unicorn. “I shall name you Sugar Plum. And you will be my pet.” And to this day, I still love Sugar Plum. But the Unicorn was not my favorite. I am still on a quest to get that colorful beauty: The Parrot, which I shall name Fruit Loop. It really suits the rainbow-like bird. 

And one day I went wandering around town and decided to hang out in Nixie’s Cave. The Cave was very beautiful. And I saw a girl named Mady making Neon Pets. She turned a cute Cat in to a glowing pink one. And then I saw her take out a Parrot. “OMG!!” I gasped. “I’ll give you two Bees for the Parrot.” She gave me a confused look, and then an evil grin. “Well,” she said. “I’ll think about it.” And then she flashed another evil grin. Was she up to something? 

I followed her around all day, asking if she had made up her mind yet. And nearly every time, she said, “I don’t know…. I might.” And that made me REALLY frustrated. So, I went off to do my own things and decided to talk to her tomorrow, when she would have chosen whether to make the trade. 

 So, my Unicorn said, “Let’s go camping!” I took Sugar Plum camping and I saw Mady talking to Luna. “Hi there, Luna! Are you enjoying the Owl I gave you earlier?” I asked. Luna just kind of nodded. And then Mady gave me a dirty look. “Wow. An Owl. That’s poor.” she teased. No! Owls are very rare. And I still miss Honey the Owl. “Actually, kind of. I’m glad it’s full grown so that I can make a neon,” complimented Luna. And then I slept in the lodge (cabin) which only the rich can afford. But there is a hack to get into it for free. I used that. 

The next morning, I looked for Luna and Mady, but they were nowhere to be found. “LUNA!” I yelled. “MADY!! Where are you?” No sign of them. Only people giving me mean looks because their pets were trying to sleep. “Ahem,” I whispered. “Sorry…. I’m going to go now.” And I rushed out of the campsite. Finally, after a half hour of intense searching, I found them hanging out and eating at Ramsay’s Pizza (the shop in the shape of a pizza slice). “Oh. Hi, Skylar,” muttered Mady. “What brings you here?” I smiled. “Remember my offer from yesterday? Well, are you going to do it?” I asked. Mady nodded. And then gave me ANOTHER evil grin! Ugh! What is wrong with that girl?! 

And then she said, “Ok, but trading doesn’t work for me, so you give me the Bees and I’ll give you the Parrot.” That was kind of suspicious. So, I gave her just one Bee and saw what she does before I gave her the second. And then she left the game. Betrayed and scammed me. Lost Luna’s trust. “Omg! That was cruel,” she decided. And now I just wanted to curl up into a ball and….well, be alone. I guess Luna felt kind of bad for me and knew that the Bee was expensive. So, she gave me her Ginger Cat (from the Star Rewards). “Thanks, I guess,” I said. And since Luna remembered Mady’s name, she reported her. “Oof,” said Luna, “She is so in trouble!” I kind of laughed. Well, Ginger Cats are ultra-rare, just like Bees. But Bees cost money and Ginger Cats don’t. Oh well, I don’t mind too much.
