This part will certainly leave your brain spinning. Enjoy!
“Jack?” said Clara. “Where’d you go now?”
She looked around but didn’t find Jack anywhere. She got annoyed and stomped her foot on the floor in frustration. And then, Jack came back. He looked different. His hair had changed from brown to red.
“Like my hair?” asked Jack, brushing his bangs.
“I think black would’ve been cooler,” Clara chuckled. “But where were you?”
“Dunno. Probably some hair salon. But I sure do look pretty now, don’t you think?”
“Yeah, whatever. Do you hear growling?”
“Oh, yeah. That must be the dragon. Do you want to go fight it?”
“Yes!” Clara put on her brave face. “Let’s go. Get your sword. Wait… where is your sword?”
“Ah, yes. Just a moment.” Jack put his arm out in front of himself, and his sword appeared in his hand.
“How did you do that?” yelled Clara.
“Oh… this thing? It’s new. Are you going to come, or not?” asked Jack.
“Well, yeah. But be ready to answer lots of questions later.” They walked upstairs where they found the dragon wounded and sobbing. Jack raised his sword.
“Jack! Don’t hurt it yet,” said Clara.
“Why not?”
“Maybe… we don’t need to.” Clara stepped forward and pet the dragon. It roared.
“He has bad breath,” Jack muttered.
The dragon got up and collapsed. It didn’t move again. Clara brushed a tear away, and Jack pretended not to see that.
“Sorry,” said Jack.
“For what?” inquired Clara. Her voice was broken. If you’ve never seen how Clara was at the moment, you’ve never experienced extreme sadness.
“If you think I’m annoying,” said Jack.
“No, Jack. I like you.” After that, there were a few moments of silence.
“So… I guess we’re done here? Is it time to rob the crystal and rule the kingdom?” asked Jack.
“I guess.” They immediately teleported to the kingdom.
“Nice,” Clara said.
“Shall we?” Jack said, holding out his hand. Clara nodded and ran off to the Forest Fairies’ home without even taking his hand. Jack shrugged and followed.
“Okay,” she said. “Part one. Steal the noisemaker and the magic bubble.”
“Got it,” said Jack. They walked in, only to find nobody. They quickly took the items.
“They have horrible security,” decided Jack.
“They don’t even have security,” Clara corrected.
“Still.” They walked out of the house and stared up at the trees.
“Are those robins?” asked Jack, pointing to a branch.
“I think. Come on, we should check the news for part two of our plan.”
“What’s part two again?”
Clara spun around. She flipped her long brown hair. “Seriously? You forgot?”
“Dude,” Jack sighed. “Don’t expect me to remember everything…” His voice trailed away. (A little spoiler that you should read at your own risk: Jack knew what part two was. He was testing Clara. But you’ll find out why later. If you have theories, tell us in the comments below!)
“Oh my gosh,” Clara said, rolling her eyes. “You know nothing. We arrest ourselves. So what do you want to do? Blow up something?”
“We’ve already committed a crime,” said Jack. “We robbed the fairies.”
“So let’s tell them. I’m going to kick their car. That’ll bring their attention.”
Clara walked over to the luxury Porsche and kicked it. The alarm went off and Diana immediately appeared.
“What exactly are you doing?” said Diana. “Are you trying to get yourself killed, or are you just dumb, Clara?”
“Sort of,” Clara said as she ran off with Jack.
The Fairies followed them.
“The noisemaker,” Clara said. “Bomb!”
Jack pushed a button. They heard a very loud noise.
“And now, for the time machine,” said Jack. He teleported himself to three years ago when he was standing in front of the crystal.
“Here we are,” said Clara. “The crystal. At last.”
“I got it!” Jack said, grabbing the crystal and holding it up like a trophy. They then time-traveled to right before they stole the noisemaker. So, since they technically never stole it in the corrected timeline, the time machine and noisemaker disappeared from their hands. They ran to the Blue Cove. The pedestal glittered.
“We have to place it together,” said Clara, “so that we both become rulers.”
“The measuring kind?”
“Shut up, Jack.”
Jack gave her an evil grin and placed the crystal on the pedestal without letting Clara even touch it. A crown appeared above his head.
“Lies,” Clara said. “So it was all lies. You are evil.”
“My dear Clara,” said Jack, “quiet. Even though I’m evil, maybe I’ll tell you my secrets.”
“Spill it.”
“Queen Miranda doesn’t exist.”
Clara gasped. “Please, Jack,” she said, gritting her teeth. “That’s as crazy as telling me you’re a Forest Fairy in disguise.”
Jack pulled something out of his pocket. It was a small purple crystal. “See this?” asked Jack. “The Violet Crystal.”
Perhaps it’s time to tell you about all the different crystals. The Pink Crystal is the most powerful, granting the power to rule. The Violet Crystal grants the power of illusions, which explains how Queen Miranda never existed. Jack created her as a hologram. The Blue Crystal, found somewhere in the depths of the Blue Cove, grants the power of immortality. An important character in this story may or may not own this crystal. And the Green Crystal grants the power to teleport. It’s owned by Greenbeard.
“And now,” Jack said, laughing. “Your life will be all problems, thanks to my Violet Crystal.”
Neat!!! Poor Clara, shouldn’t she have liked him!!! I got some theories: Jack was reporting to his master about plan two, or he was USING her to steal the crystal. OMG, Jack is evil!! How did this happen?? (Yeah, I know I’m being slightly dramatic) Aadya, quick question, do you have any other new stories? I would like some action stories if that’s possible. Thank you!
After A New Journey I’ve planned out something.
Great!
NOO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Queen Miranda doesn’t exist? Jack is evil??? OMG!!!! Yet this is sooooooooooooooooooo good!! (About time you posted this part, no offense) You know me!
