Hi guys, another story today. I had so much fun writing the previous story that I decided to do another. This one is called The Adventures Of Aadya, Kayla, and Ava.
A few years ago, we were riding our bikes. There’s a trail near our neighborhood which leads to a Build-A-Bear-Workshop. I didn’t visit it that day, but we still had a lot of fun. My best friend ever, Melissa (not real name), was also there. She’s the same age as me.
Along the trail, there was a duck pond. “The last one to the duck pond is a rotten eggplant!” yelled Kayla. “But, rotten or not, I can’t tell the difference. They both taste terrible!”
Ava chuckled at Kayla’s thought on eggplants. She was so busy laughing that the rest of us got ahead. Melissa arrived first, then me, then Kayla, and then Ava.
“You know, it’s not all bad being an eggplant,” she said to make herself feel better, “but it’s certainly bad to be mean, Kayla. You don’t have to give me titles of rotten eggplants.”
“Sorry! Anyway, how many pieces of bread did y’all get? Those ducks look really hungry.”
“I have 3,” I said.
“We stocked up on a lot yesterday,” said Ava, “so I’ve brought 9.”
“I don’t have any,” sighed Melissa. “I ate the last piece this morning.”
“It’s ok, Melissa. So we have 12 pieces of bread. How much does everyone want?” asked Kayla.
“I’ll take five pieces,” said Ava.
“Actually, we should split it equally, so everyone gets a fair amount. We can all have 3 pieces,” I told them.
“Nice idea. How’d you figure that out so quickly?” asked Kayla.
“I used division. You will learn about it when you’re my age,” I explained.
“Enough chit-chat! Can we just feed them already?” ranted Ava.
“Yes. Melissa, feed those ducks over there, on the left. Aadya, you can feed the ones on the right. Ava and I will feed the ducks in the middle.”
“Okay. Can we go to the Build-A-Bear-Workshop next?” asked Melissa.
“I didn’t bring any money,” I said as I tried to get the ducks’ attention.
“Me neither!” Ava sighed.
“Whatever,” Kayla rolled her eyes. “Okay, looks like the ducks don’t want more. Should we go?”
“Mhm. I just need to get a sip of water…” said Ava.
“Oh no! Look!” screamed Melissa. Two angry-looking bulldogs were heading our way.
“Aaaah!” yelled Ava.
“Don’t worry. It’s just a dog! Well, fine, two dogs,” said Kayla. She slowly approached it.
“OMG!!” she screamed.
“Kayla! Did it bite you?” we asked.
“No, um, one of them just licked me. Gross!”
Ava was shocked, while Melissa and I rolled our eyes.
WAIT!
THIS IS THE FIRST PART OF A TWO PARTER!
STAY TUNED FOR MORE!
Your stories are amazing!
Nice story! Are you guys still friends now? Waiting for Part 2!
The rest of them moved, and I’m the only one who’s still here, so the answer to your question would be no.
Oh…sad you aren’t in touch, but cool,
well, I still call Melissa every now and then! But the others aren’t in touch.
Oh, cool!
Lol. But Kayla is still mean and Ava is like me. And we have the same Nickname! I guess my nickname’s popular 😂
Kayla is really nice, but she is kind of mean at times. She is rude to Ava, because she thinks Ava is weird. But she tries to be nice around Melissa, because she wants to impress her.
Yea, so Kayla is nice but mean to Ava. Mean. My BFF’s frenemy is in her class and she is going CRAZY NOW BTW.
YAY!!! ANOTHER STORY!!! I LOVE YOUR STORIES!!!😆
