This story is based on my own experiences from the BEST game ever, Royale High, from Roblox.
Audrey walked through the glowing halls of Magicia High. She saw many kids doing strange things with magic. “Gosh,” she whispered. “I know nothing about magic! How will I survive here?” “Oh,” said a woman. “You must be the new student! Welcome to Magicia High. Your classes start at 7 AM. Till then, please grab a breakfast!” Audrey nodded. She went to the café. “Hmm, I think I’ll get rainbow cereal…” She paid for her meal, ate it, and went to her locker. Her first class was swimming. “Ugh, I hate swimming!” She went to the locker room and changed into her swimsuit.
“Um, you don’t actually have to swim in this class,” said someone from behind. “You just have to jump over the spinning thing in the middle, but you can always fly and win it.” “Oh, okay,” said Audrey. She just hovered over the spinning pole in the middle, and got a perfect score. Susie, who got a C, looked and Audrey and said, “Beginners luck! Wait until you get to PE!” Audrey decided to change back into her normal outfit.
“For PE, please complete the obstacle course and ring the bell when you are finished!” the teacher exclaimed. “Hot tip,” said the person she met earlier, “You don’t actually need to do it all. Just fly over it. And, by the way, I’m Max. Nice to meet you!” The course started, and Max and Audrey zoomed past everyone else. “Make sure to collect all the diamonds!” called Max. “I will!” replied Audrey. They were the first ones to finish, and rang the bell with plenty of time left. They at once got teleported to the lobby, and then it was time for their next class.
“For English, please meet in the Literature Hall!” someone boasted over the loudspeaker. “And you have ten minutes to get your English books!” “Oh, bringing the right books to classes is a terrific way to earn diamonds,” mumbled Max as he flipped through his book. “I’m not the new kid anymore, so I know a thing or two about how to get good grades here in Magicia High.” They had a pop quiz, which was pretty easy, and Audrey got a B+. “Not bad,” shrugged Max. “That’s good for a beginner, actually.” Audrey snorted. “This school is way too easy!” “Well, it’ll get harder. We’re only in ninth grade, but trust me, it’ll be WAY more difficult in eleventh.”
“Oh, lunch! I have been starving. I am famished,” exaggerated Audrey. “Famished! So you have quite a vocabulary, huh? Oh, and for lunch, I think the best meal is the pizza and the worst is the fruit and cheese platter,” explained Max. They had pizza and a Chai Latte for lunch, and went to their next class, chemistry. “For chemistry,” started the teacher, “Please follow the recipe and mix the correct potions. A wrong mixture or slow pace will eliminate you, and give you a bad grade.” Max and Audrey quickly mixed all the potions. They both got an A. “Next,” said the chemistry teacher, “You have baking, don’t you? Well, get your recipe books, please!” They went to the lockers and got recipe books.
“Today, we will be making cupcakes. Please open your recipe books to page 55, and start by slicing butter. Audrey carefully followed the recipe and made four red velvet cupcakes, with rainbow sprinkles. She ate one. “You should save those for later,” suggested Max. “They don’t serve dinner here, and all you can get for food is a few snacks.” For their last class, they had art. “And for art,” cried the art teacher, “I have painted this picture. Please copy it onto your canvas!” Audrey copied it and got an A. “Now, please go to your dorms to finish your homework. You may work with your roommate if you like.”
Audrey’s roommate was a girl named Rylie, who was Rose’s twin. “AUDREY AUDREY AUDREY! YES! I FINALLY GOT A ROOMIE! YAY!” squealed Rylie. “Um, hey. Nice to meet you,” greeted Audrey. “You mind helping me on my homework?” “Okay!” said Rylie. They finished and then Rylie exclaimed, “We still have time! Let’s go to the spa!” They flew to the Spa, where they took showers and dressed up. “Everyone,” announced the principal. “I hope you are getting ready, because the Friday night Ball starts in 10 minutes!” “Friday night ball?” wondered Audrey aloud. “Yes! I hope you have chosen a partner to dance with you. It’s just practice for our show, which we will show to the queen next month.”
When Audrey went to the ball, she whispered to Rylie, “Who’s your partner? I have no idea how to choose!” Rylie laughed. “There are many people who are still looking for a partner. Mine is Chris!” She rushed off to Chris and they started practicing. “Oh, Audrey!” said Max from behind. “I thought you were looking for someone. I am too! Can we be partners?” Audrey thought for a moment. “Sure!” she agreed. All the people danced gracefully and got good grades. At the end, the dance teacher beamed, “And now we will vote for Supreme Royality! The two pairs of partners will get 500 diamonds, each person.”
You’ll never believe it! Audrey (aka ME) and Max won! “Max! Rylie! Could this day get any better?” Just then, Brandon the waiter cam by. “Sparkling cherry juice for the winners?” They slurped their juice happily.
The next two months went by very quickly, and Audrey had a great year. Thanks for reading!
